Favorite Book
The Kissing Hand

It's a book a racoon starting his first day of school. The kiss from his mother last him throughout the day and lets him know everything is going to be ok. Even as an adult, I need a constant reminder that everything is going to be ok. My mother lives in a different city, but hearing her voice on the phone can bring peace to a difficult day for me.
My meaningful quote
"Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime."
I like it because it teaches a lesson. You can give someone something but it will not mean as much and it won't last as long. If you teach them a trade, it will last a lifetime.
